You're probably one of the few persons among the Metallica crowd choosing that song as an all-time favorite, really, can't you think of any better? Their newer stuff was far from acceptable.

I've stop listening to heavy metal songs but when it comes to Metallica, I couldn't stop listening to their songs. My all-time favorite Metallica songs are, Nothing Else Matters and Fade to Black.

Unforgiven, The memory remains, Mama said have been always my fav. But i guess when it comes to the best song, there are many among which it is real difficult to say 'this is the best song

First is Nothing else matters and next would be the unforgiven. Whisky in the jar is also not bad, not as good as Nothing else matters though:)

My favourite Metallica song would be "Call of Kulu" and also "Frantic" from there new album "St Anger".Excellent compositions perfected by the excellence by each one of 'em.The best guitar solo I've ever heard from Hammet in "Call of Kulu",and frantic is best Metallica has to offer.

Depends on the album you ask. From Kill 'Em All, Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth). From Master of Puppets, the self titled song. From ...And Justice For All, To Live is To Die. From the Black Album, Nothing Else Matters. But my all-time favorite will always remain being "One", simply a classic.

For me it would be Trapped under Ice. I just love Ride the Lightning, it's just one of those cd's you can put in the stereo and leave it alone because every song rocks.

Nothing else matters is still a hit for me. I would always rate this song. Its kinda old but oh yah.. they rock. and the song rocks!!! This is the best song ..
