How to promote your blog

I have started a new blog and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to promote blogs.

Go to www.stevepavlina.com/blog. He has written a very long article on his blog about making money on blogs. Included in his article is information for promoting a blog. It is a long read, so be prepared to spend some time, but it is well worth it.

I would be interested on how people do promote their blog! I'd like to have more people subscribe to my myspace blog! :) Maybe I will add my link to my profile. I need more readers. I'd like to start blogging for money too.
