George bush and 666

One of the variations of the name "Bush" is "Busche," so, the letters in "George walker Busche" would be "666." Is George Bush the evil "666" mentioned in the Bible?

That's new to me; hadn't heard of that before. Very interesting. I'm a born again Christian and proud of it; I believe everything in the Bible. For those who don't, that's all right; to each his own. I don't know about Bush being the anti-christ; the Bible says that he'll come from the east. But who knows how far east, exactly.

For me, evil is everywhere. There are so many ways to associate someone with the number of the beast. Yes counting the number of letters in the name is one way. About him being the evil in the Bible, I am not sure.

Harm to people? Are you crazy? Because he has the character to do what is right, rather than what is politically popular, he has saved hundreds of thousands of lives. Maybe even yours.

From what I've heard the '666' thing doesn't refer to numbers but to letters; it was meant to refer to the current Roman emperor at the time, who some people considered the antiChrist.

If you actually bothered to read the Book of Revelations to St John the Blessed/Beloved, you would see that the so-called number of the beast is not 666, that was an invention of the Omen Trilogy, and a mis-translation in a text that has been re-translated correctly. Perhaps you should spend less time trying to make things fit your pattern, and actually check your source material!

There is a God, Mrniceguy and myself have actually seen eye-to-eye on something, perhaps there can be hope for the Middle East! George W may be corrupted, lacking in forethought, and , in my opinion, not a very good President, but I don't feel he is the devil incarnate - the Devil is much more cunning and clever!

Too bad the REAL mark of the beats is 616. The old texts were miss translated and thought to be 666. So pretty much anything relating anyone to the 666 is just coincidence, nothing more.

No I dont think he is the beast. Maybe an ignorant man but not the beast..lol. Reason being is the Beast will bring peace to the middle east not war. As of right now its his intention seems to be moving away from that.
