when do u know it's ok to trust someone?

i saw a documentary about a substance produced by our brain that gives a person the feeling of trust and security. a scientist produced the same substance and he did a test to prove he's right. and he was. people who had been given that substance trusted a complete stranger.
i give my trust to people if i feel they deserve it. they don't have to do anything special, except for braking my trust. once broken i cannot trust that person again.
how do u trust someone? do u need special proofs he's worth u'r trust? or do u believe the trust comes as a result of chemestry and brain produced substances?

i guess that saves u from being hurt. but i think also "saves u" from experiencing alot of other emotions. anyway thanks for sharing this.

I'ts ok to trust someone when there is a proof that the person can be trusted. Like their clean background of no misconduct. Or even through the physical appearance of a stranger i can tell if i can trust him/her. And of course i trust my relatives and friends.
