Messenger Problems

I keep having problems with Yahoo messenger slowing down my computer. Is any one else having there or similar problems? Any advice?

yahoo did at one point have this problem a few days ago because of that earthquake in taiwan. most of the internet in southeast asia was affected and i guess yahoo was affected as well. but so far right now, its getting back to normal

YEah, I have this problem all the time, I actually had to take it off my computer beacause it was just slowing everything way down.

I have actually heard of a lot of People having this Problem and I know one of my Friends was to I have not come across the Problem yet so I don't know what is causing it but it has to be something to do with Yahoo in certain Areas

Do you have a newer or older computer? Maybe it has something to do with it.
