Would you let your teenager drive a vehicle, any distance, w/o having an adult with them? For instance, my daughter will be 16 in 4 weeks, would you allow her to drive about a mile down the road to the store and back?

Well it would depend on if I had already driven with her and I thought she was a good driver or not. If she is a good driver then why not right? everyone has to start somewhere.

No way, this is too risky for everyone, possibly getting in a car accident, someone getting hurt, losing her license, losing your insurance. There's no risk in waiting 4 weeks. Your daughter will have 4 more weeks of experience, and the risks of breaking the law or anything else happening will be less, and you'll have less stress thinking about something bad happening. Why not wait?
