Accidentally, I came across the story about Charles Manson. It is hard to believe if what is to be read is actually true. Can anybody go to the extent of killing people so brutally just on the instruction of some 'soul' they worship? I agree that there are many more cults and I would reckon they are thriving long but nothing as brutal and controversial. Its a bitter pill that human history would have to make room for such cruelty.
Unfortunately, as per him, it was Beatles who inspired him!

Charles Manson became friends with Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys and almost signed to Brother Records, the Beach Boys own label, before his weird behaviour scared them off.
The Beach Boys reworked one of Manson's songs "Cease To Exist", re-titling it "Never Learn Not To Love" and putting it on their 20,20 album.

Yes. Thanks for sharing this info. He was a scare and certainly a threat to the society.

To me the Charles Manson and his followers story just proves that they were all insane.

I watched a really interesting documentary tonight, with my husband, on MSNBC about Charles Mansion, and in his own words he described how the Beatles inspired him. What a scary story. If I were a member of the Beatles, I'd hate to be responsible for THAT!!!
