Why polls are always skewed

When noticing the results of polls taken, it always seems that they are in favor of swaying public opinion toward the direction that whomever is sharing the poll. Take for example this recent poll that I saw posted on the farmersalmanac website: The question: Do you think the earth is experiencing the effects of global warming? The "choices" 1. Yes - how else do you explain the rise in the temperature 2. No, I think this is the beginning of an Ice Age 3. Unsure, but I do think many of our habits are hurting the atmosphere BAM! a skewed poll. NO matter what the result the pollster can say that people are concerned about human habits and nature. My answer would be D. Since the beginning of the time of earth, earth has gone through periods of natural cooling and warming. If this were not true, then no species would have ever been able to maintain life on this planet. Still subscribe to the Al Gore political stance of humans causing global warming? Did you know that the polar ice caps on Mars are melting? Do you think Mr Gore things that is our fault as well? Did you know that the sun is hotter now than it has been in hundreds of years? Do you think a child laying in a hospital bed, dying of cancer gives a rip about global warming and all of the little minions scurrying to raise money to stop it? Do you think the elderly person that fought in wars, shed their blood, and lost family members so we could have our freedom, really cares if you spend your days worrying about global warming? Or do you think maybe they wish you would take say, 1 hour out of your week and come to visit them? Stuff to think about.
