i was responding to jelbatress dicusion and read all the comments.
she said that america should not help other countries b4 helping its own people.somthing on this ground. i think she got it wrong when did it help other country? give me the recent help granted by it.she also says that american ppl r not given proper school and and other countries students r getting into colleges.does this mean it is helping other countries.i have heard that those unversitie charge 4 times more fee than they charge the normal local students.is this the help she is talking abt?america has money power so it can retain quality and skilled person under it .so r they trying to help those ppl or just use them.
ppl also read jenbtres discusions u might get a faint idea wat i am talking abt

Why should it? Any govt exists to serve and protect its people (at least democracies are). Why should the US be any different? Its responsibilities lie to its people, not to some foreign people. If the the US population wants to help others them OK but the govt shouldn't. If the govt does then they should get less money the following year and let the population decide where to send the extra money.

i dont think america will help other countries but it will definitely try to make the best out of the conflicts existing in the global arena
but we dont have to really feel it is a great country
it just plays with the sentiments to make itself more and more powerful

I do not know what is really the intentions of America helping other country. A self proclaimed Police of the world makes America bold enough to extend a "helping hand" to countries in trouble. But I doubt it's intention specially when the US ambassador here in our country released a statement saying that US Aid for our country will be hampered if a rape convicted US soldier will not be turned over to the US Embassy for custody. That statement raises my doubt on what is really the intention of the US helping other country.
For me Help is a help with out any conditions whatsoever at all. Good Luck to us all!

I see schools put up by the Americans, Bridges, roads and other infrastructures. They help when other countries are struck by calamities in terms of sending medical personnel, equipment and supplies. People who have benefited are thankful. Now if that is done with vested interest and ulterior motives is another matter but they do help.
