Do you beleive that there is God?? / myLot

do you beleive that God exists? if so, why? i beleive that God is real, though you have to wonder, is he testing your faith? he wants you to beleive in him, know that he is there, and yet, at the same time, gives us soo much scientific evidence to suggest otherwise. makes you wonder....

Before entering into a discussion, it would be fare to make clear what is your concept about god. From your words god is a male, also scientific evidences suggests otherwise. To me, god is oneself - one's self. One's thoughts, emotions, feelings etc. God is everything or you can say god is nothing. Everything around us, everything in nature, everything we know is god.

to be honest, yes, i believe in God, though male or female, we do not know. and there is no scientific evidence that says he is not a he. he could very well be a he. or a she. if you read the bible, god made man in his image. then created women.not to be sexist or anything, but that is what i have read. and that is what i believe

still you haven't said what's god. other than christina (biblical) there are so many other concepts of god in so many religions around the world. everyone thinks what he/she read or believe is right. it is right, it is wrong as well.

yes. because i believe so. and it's not true that scientific evidents are againts him.. do you know the latest discovery in the Dna thing??

I really don't know... I'm a Taoist and my goal is to "be". I do think there has to be something out there, so that we can have somewhat of a security blanket to look to whether it's god or whatever else... It's always good to have a faith in something, and if it helps you improve yourself then it is for the better!

very well put. *claps* i agree. it is something of a drag to think that we are it. that there is no purpose to our existance, and that when we die, we just go.

i believe in me, my known ones, my surroundings, my environment and that's god to me. it seems your god is a male!!??
