Many Linux Distributions are now coming out to be user friendly. And if you are really used in windows applications, there are available packages like crossover linux that let you install word/excel/powerpoint or Windows application in a linux box. It is worth trying.

Linux is a very good operating system. Only experienced users can find Linux user friendly. One needs to get learned before using LINUX OS on your home pc's

It is depending on those as he/she take linux. Some one who study it with patience he/she can get the threasure and essence of the hidden power so keep patience and study it.

Well what sort of problems do you face- is it in the installation , the execution of the programs or in logging in. What is the distribution you use. These are the basic things that must be answered before any specific problem is addressed. So, what are your problems?
