Ok, I love the Harry Potter series, I have to be honest about that one. But when I waited 6 hours in line to get the 6th book last year, I was very disappointed in the cliche writing of it. As if it wasn't bad enough that another of the main characters died, but everyone you'd expect to be together in a relationship were, save Tonks and Remus. Who agrees?

I thought it was an awesome book and very realistic (as it can be). Of course people are going to die when your in a huge war over good and evil. I think Tonks and Remus will probably eventually get together (if they survive) and I can completly understand Remus reasoning behind his disission. What I don't understand is why you stood in line so long. I ordered my copy from amazon and the mail man brought it to me that morning. I intend on doing the same thing this year when book 7 comes out.

Well, I stood in line so long because I feel like ordering the book off the internet just takes away the fun in getting it. I wanted the book the night it came out, the closest to the time it did. I read like 30 pages of it on my way home. I do agree about the Tonks/Remus thing, and the only reason I brought all this up isn't necessarily to bash the book, which I already said I love, it's just to say that she could've made it a little less predictable. The thing I was expecting at the end of the book was for Harry to die honestly, cause that's in the direction I felt it was going.

I do agree with you on this one. I had bought the 6th book 3 months in advance. Ok i put one on reserve for when they came in. To see which of the main chariter's die and to see who caused that to happen was a shock and a half to me. Then to find out who the half blood prince really was. It was a big shock. I was like omg i can't believe it. Ion't know how long i cryed at the end of the book but i was very sad befor i had finished it. I can't wait to read the 7th and last book that J.K Rawling is in the process of writing. From what i hear two more people die in the book.

bit disappointed about the book 6, too.. it's like jk's been influenced by fanfics.. i don't agree with the linked love teams either. it's like the book contained a lot of "love stories" which i find a bit cheesy.. sorry.. tsk tsk..
