This has got to be bad.
I see on Yahoo where most infant car seats "failed disastrously" in crashes at speeds as low as 35 mph.
Seats are coming out of their bases or twisted in place.
Of the 12 car seats tested Consumer Reports said it could only recommend 2 of them.
Please check your child's seat, make sure its installed right and they fit in the seat good. It could save your child's life.

Thanks for the warning. I have three children under age 5 and I will be sure to gather more information online about the carseats they currently have. The foreign seats may be a bit pricier, but if it means that my children are better protected in case of an accident then the investment will have been well worth it!

I was reading the same thing in my consumer reports magazine and they said the best seats are the ones made by other countries. The American made ones are not very good and did not meet the safety standards. They recommended the foreign made baby seats, which makes sense since foreign cars are generally better than most American made cars.
