At first, I wasn't going to reply to this one, then I thought, what the heck, lol. (First of all, I'm a female.) When I was going through chemotherapy for cancer, it made me totally bald for about 7 months. We are talking balder than a billiard ball here...I didn't even have eyebrows, or eyelashes for that matter. (The best news was that I didn't even have to shave my legs!) I decided that since I had no choice in the matter, I would have to live with it, so I might as well have fun with it. I can now sympathize with any man who has to live with baldness for the rest of their life. You have no idea how cold your head gets in the winter when you are bald!!! I developed a strong respect for the men that have to live with it every day! And yes, I have all of my long beautiful hair, and all, back now. (And, as a woman, I'm especially thankful for that!)
On the other side of the coin are men who go bald prematurely, or even later in life. Did you know that they almost always have a higher percentage of testosterone tunning around their system? No wonder bald men have a great s*x drive! No sin in being bald, it's just something life hands you. Look at your Dad...if he's bald, you probably will be too some day, more than likely.

Yes I am 'follically challenged'!
As JoyfulOne points out, it can get mighty cold up top! (Well done, that lady, for admitting you have been there!)
Actually, baldness is carried on the female gene, so it's more likely that one will be bald if the men on your MOTHER's side were!
I am very glad of the current male fashion of displaying the dome in all it's glory!
