Too much TV is not only bad for today's kid but also for kids of any generation. But TV also provides kid with some valuable knowledge. Thus too much TV is not good but some amount of TV watching is fine.

i agree with you, getting valuable knowledge is good when watching tv, however watching too much tv is not good.

"too much" depends on what the kid is watching. If its something educational then watching too much tv isn't bad, however, if its mostly adult related shows then it is definitely bad for the kid.

excess of anything is bad whether it is tv or net. And children need to be taught that excess of tv would not only affect their studies but also their eyes. Also there is a need to keep a check on the stuff theya are watching.

I think, advantages and disadvantages from television. Good and bad character person from television in all people. But serial is a not important program. So childrens are seeing serials in examination period.
