What does MBBS stand for?

funny my asking this, since i want to become a doctor!.....i should have know an easy thing like this....bt surprisingly, many ppl inclding me DONT!....can anyone tell me?

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science. I used to wonder why they have given the different acrnym for MBBS.i think this is the answer.is there anything else as given by the first responder?

The letters MBBS stands for bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. there are other forms also not form medical feild like Mennonite brethren biblical seminary managed broad band service mouth big brain small

That's interesting. I didn't know about that acronym because we don't use that here in the Philippines. The title we use is M.D. which stands for Doctor of Medicine. And we also have other acronyms representing our professional affiliations.
