How long does it take?

Just wondering, how long will it take using all the effort to get SEO and submitting to directories to be at least pr 3, have at least 50 unique visitors a day, based on your personal experience?
The reason why I ask is, that I keep wondering if my website made any good progress or am I just stuck.

Just make a search engine friendly site. If you are practicing SEO for a long time you can do this within 2-6months. It is also depends on what type of your website you have. If your site is about entertainment you will have lots of traffic.
