Have just started to ride around our little streets as we are rural and am trying to do this for exercise as walking is out for awhile longer, and have wondered about the helmut situation as have one to wear but have not ventured too far yet! Knowing my luck I shall get caught so will need to wear it from now on even for the short distances I do. As that is the law and it should be followed and sets a good example for the other young ones around here.

In India, it is a law to wear helmet while driving a 2 wheeler, but people generaly do not do so as the law is not strictly implemented. But i do not drive my vehicle without helmet, even if i have to drive for only a few metres.

I don't have a push bike. But as a saftey precaution, I would advise it for anyone, any age, to wear one all the time when on any time of bike.

I have not ridden a bike in years, but I do insist on my daughter wearing her helmet when she rides, also when she is on her scooter or skates.
