Control freaks, do you know one? Are you one?

Are you a control freak where everything just has to go your way or no way, or it's the highway? Do you know anyone like this? I sometimes will listen to my husband, but when it comes to something that is mine or has to do with my body i htink I should be able to do what I want. My brother-in-law downright refuses to let my sister cut her hair. When my man told me I can't do something I usually go ahead and do it. If i want my hair dyed I'll dye it. Do you?

I think 75% of mother in laws can be controlling. They think we don't know anything no matter our age. But sometimes we know more than them and it makes them mad mine didn't know how to read so she was always putting me down about me reading books and stuff..Can't let them control you though life is to short to be under a smothering thumb of a mother in law...thanks

you know some? I know some to. I may get mad stomp my foot over things when other people are trying to contol my life but i don't try to control theirs...well i have tried to tame my hubby a little bit but to no avail..snap! lol.

Yes indeed. thanks for your response. Well granny you to say what didn't kill us only made us stronger. lol Of course she always said that to when she tried to make us take caster oil when we were younger lol yuck!!!!

Nobody tells me what to do when it comes to me. I do know some people, however, that feel they must control their lives and everyone else's lives. Those people have problems. Everyone adult should be able have the final say in their own life.

Yes this is true. thanks for sharing your opinion LovingIt. I feel the same way. That is why i tell my sister that her marriage is not healthy. We aren't suposed to let a man have that much control. I mean if you want you hair cut and dyed you should be able to... But she will never learn. I know it's her life but she draws us all into it when she calls complaining but she doesnt do anything about it.

there you go thats the atitude we all need to take lol..why should we let others control our llives even hough we love them. I don't know about anyone else but when i said my vows i didn't have the "to obey" in mine i ddon't think that is a today kinda thing i mean yeah a hundred years ago but it doesn't belong in today's society..
