The main factor before one decides to buy things online

For me its "do i really want this" and if its clothing "is it my size" because with most online store you can only return something once and then your stuck after that.

I always check that this site is not SPAM of course but after i have decided that they are reputable, then i check that i am on a secure connection and one of the most important factors for me when decideing wether to buy online is the postage cost of what they are sending, because alot of companies overcharge for postage and make their profit that way which i do not like.

I think the main factor is need & time. People really need to but that thing but do not have time to go out to buy, so they think buy things online is the simple one to get the things that they need.

NEED! if i really need that product then i will buy it if not i will not spend a single penny on it.

I always look for the verisign seal, or a paypal preferred merchant logo, in order to verify that the company is legit. and won't rip me off An I always check to make sure the url begins with https. Otherwise, I won't make a purchase.
