I personally feel that a circus is not a good place for animals. they are usually not well cared for, have small cages, are stressed out by traveling a lot (which causes most animals a good deal of undue stress), and are usually treated cruelly in order to force them to perform. A good deal of the zoos today, however, have made it as natural a setting for their animals and most are well cared for. I think a lot of zoos do a good service to the preservation of animals, because if people can see them up close, they are more apt to want to help preserve the species, and a lot of zoos are helping to preserve a species through breeding programs, which help out a lot of naturally dying species...the conservation of the animals is the most important thing.

another thing too, is that a lot of animals have been either orphaned or injured in some way that they would not survive in the wild, therefore, keeping them in a zoo actually helps that animal to survive.

i dont like circuses but if we didnt have zoos, then we wouldnt have the opportunity to create breeding programs for animals that are endangered...
these programs are designed to be able to replenish the animals in the wild if needed...i think thats a good thing.... and something that will benefit generations to come and our environment.
zoos are getting better with where they house their animals so i dont think its as cruel as it once was and as i said they are trying to breed endangered animals to keep the species going.

for saving those extenguishing species they can have natural forests build where they can remain secured and enjoy life freely

we all know that they need to replenish forests but its not gonna happen...people are too greedy for space and timber products....

The circus-NO. The zoo is a place where animals that would not normally survive where they were found can be safe.

I used to work at Disney's Animal Kingdom, I personally feel that place is the right place or just having them be free out in the wild like places like Africa or Australia.

i think with the advent of television and the wider availability of air flight to more exotic destinations to far more people than ever before there are no reasons to keep animals in zoos at all.
I have always thought making animals perform in circuses is just wrong, it can not be excused and should be illegal all over the world.

No, the animals must be free not in zoo's, if it's a species that is in danger then it shoud be keep in special places to protect them. A lot of zoo's are very ugly and dirty, so the animals are not trated corectly and good, a sad thing if you look at them and see the animals sad, do you agree?

hi, good evening
In my point of view zoos and circus are not at all safe place. There they tame the animals very rudely. They beat them very hard.Sometimes i get angry on the people who are rude towards animals. In my view they should kept in forests. And leave them very free or freedom. No one had a right to keep them in circus.
