Why can't we just have one joke thread?

You know what? I'm sick of going through here and everywhere I look it's an other one of those joke threads. Like -- enough with the jokes. I get that people like jokes, but is it really necessary to create a thread everytime you want to post a joke? Can't we just simply have one joke thread at a time?
