why do woman date men that arent as good looking?

i always wondered about this i would see a couple and just think why is she with him she is way better looking.. so many times this is true. not 100% of the time but usually. but then i noticed when you see someones girlfriend without a fake tan and makeup on just in a teeshirt and jeans their actually pretty equal in looks with their man.. anyone notice this or am i just crazy?

Well, sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may not be good looking to you may be very sexy to someone else!... and most people fall in love with someone for their personality not just because of what they look like!

i agree with you. but i do believe it takes that first physical attraction to want to get to know someone.. unless youve been friends with them for a while b4 hand

Because to some women they don't really care about the looks. They look for good personality, wealth and some that has a head on their houlders.

I don't think this is true overall. I see that sometime with younger folks, but as people mature, you often find those where looks don't always seem to match. I believe that personality and intangible attributes become more important as we gain wisdom and experience. Besides, looks are so subjective anyway, that we never really know how others view us.
