Some people long to become pregnant yet are not blessed instantly. We have been trying to have a child but since I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, it is somewhat difficult for us. I was told by my Gyne to take clomid. Could anyone pls tell me more about this? I would appreciate any advice that might help me become pregnant soon. A baby is a blessing and it will really be such joy to have finally hold one in my arms.

No, poly cystic ovarian syndrom ei not curable, but can be controllable. There is a difference. You can controil the symptoms (hairiness, weight, blood pressure and cohesterol as you get older) and the medications are improved, but if you check online messageboards there are thousands of women out there with this problem - millions actually. BUT you can get through this and successfully.

i share your sorrow, skywolf. im married for four years now but still hasn't conceived. =( i tried using clomid, too, but it didn't worked for me. =( my OB-Gyne told me that i should free myself from stress and pressure coz it hinders me to ovulate. she advised me to take a vacation with my husband when trying to conceive.

yes, they say stress is one of the major reasons why women sometimes dont ovulate. i was under a lot of stress when my husband was here because of my family. i just wont go into details with that... i am now taking folic acid everyday and recording my menstrual cycle in www.mycycle.com because they predict your ovulation date. it's hard on my part cause i only get to be with my husband twice a year so i have to make do with that.

I recently read about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and from what I read, it sounds like you should be able to treat it and become pregnant. I would definitely do what your OB/GYN recommends and take any medicine he prescribes. Keep us posted, I have my fingers crossed for you.
