Hi friends it is time to think of which is the way our Indian team is going as of its poor performance before worldcup.what might be the reason for this worst performance is it the coach or the team?

I will not put the blame on the coach only, there are combination of factors for the poor show. See all the teams have improved to a position of strength. Take Pakistan, take Sri Lankan, take South Africa, while the Indian team's performance graph is going downwards since the last many months. It all started with few policy changes which went wrong. The worst sufferer is Irfan Pathan. He was poised to be a World class left arm medium-fast bowler. Due to whatever reasons or ambition or too much of experiments he has been converted into a good batsman. Great! Sehwag who can murder any attack on any wicket (yes I have not forgotten his innings in Australia) has lost form in such a way that now even reaching double figure is like scoring century for him. Moreover take the last test. A clearly injured player was taken into the squad who could not bowl properly, looked clearly not physically fit. Why the team management is working like that. The Chief of Selector had to be rushed there to take things under control. I personally feel now we will see many changes in the team. Moreover I personally feel we need an agressive captain who knows how to attack, because winning means attacking. Today people are saying Indian team lacks killer instinct. During Ganguly's tenure no one said this. It is time our board should take some serious steps to inject confidence among the players and also show who is calling the shots. I think our national pride should be restored.

Yes of course what you said is correct and do you really think there is a need to change the captain

Yes friend I feel there is a need to change captain. Not only me 65% of India feels as per a day before yesterday Aaj tak poll. Though I honestly have some doubts on that data but there are reasons to it. If we see the personalities of most successful captains in the world the names of greats like Imran Khan, Kapil Dev will come. I am not taking many names though there are more great captains but most of them had a great team with them, except perhaps these two. What is the common factor among them was both of them were agressive. Take our last most successful captain Ganguly. He was an agressor. Though at this stage we can't even think he will be in the team but I tell you Virendra Sehwag will be another successfull captain. Unfortunately Sehwag will now have to do enough to even stay in the team. Why Sreesanth got this success in South Africa? Because he showed his agression on field. You have to unnerve your opposition by your moves, by your body languages. Unfortunately I think Dravid lacks these qualities. He is a great batsman, but to be a great captain the criteria is different. At this stage though it will be risky to change our captain. I really see very little chance of India doing something extra ordinary in the World cup. They will be doing good in India against West Indies may be, but in West Indies things will be different.

It is right friend what you said is almost right but in the whole agression can't play the game and can't fullfill the role of a captain. If you consider veeru to be the next succesfull captain i may say it might not become true as first of all he looses his form beacause of his agression so how can he put the team in a decent position.

hey.. i dont think you can blame the coach only.we had big names in our side who didnt deliver as expected.sachin should have scored at least one century in the series.though he got a couple of half centuries,it was not enough.virender sehwag is woefully out of form and god help what to do with him.irfan pathan has gone through some really tough times due to excessive tinkering by the coach. rahul dravid's highest score for the series was just 32..hw does one answer that?and in the last test,we should have gone with a fully fit harbhajan singh on a turning capetown wicket instead of the not even half fit munaf patel, who became a liability on the field

I think every one done perform very very bad. I am not sure India can win the match. I think coach should give resign and some cricket should be retire.
