Hi evereybody!
I am an Ahmadi, a faith in Islam. We believe that all Revealed Religions were truthful in the origin and it is only through passage of time that their Revealed Books became distorted/interpolated due to a number of factors which could be discussed and traced out on merit of each case; but all Revealed Religions springing from one source i.e. ONE GOD deserve to be respected and could be united in One Religion through peaceful means, discussions, dialogue, reason, rationality, knowledge and revelation.
This is my conviction. Love for all ,hatred for none.

Let's all look at it this way. In a sense, we are all united in our search for a meaning and purpose in life. We are all human beings with a common enemy, i.e. meaningless existence.
If we are looking at organic unity, that all of us will be united in the way we believe, one doctrine etc.etc., that's one step away from reality, that will never happen. Having said that, there's no point making these differences, a dividing wall that separates us from each other as persons. Look at the effects of religious persecutions in the name of god, the crusades, holy war and so on. These differences will always exist since we are all different. There's no way we can erase these differences, but we can use them as tools to build with and not weapons to fight with to make this world a better place to live in. That way, we can achieve real unity.

I agree with you, religion should not be the dividing force, rather it should be a uniting force. We could unite religiously by a positive enquiry. We could have a peaceful dialogue and discussions. If we reslove not to fight who would force us to fight. Nobody.

Hi
The atheists could be good friends, religion is one's own private belief, as human beings everybody is to be respected and made friends with. Could I ask you what was your Relgion before you became an atheist? What made you change?
I like you.
Thanks
