Friends,
Iam from India and here everyone become emotional when they watch movies / TV shows. There are lot of TV shows / Drama in India which mainly deals with family subjects. Especially all women in India watch the TV Dramas daily and they really get emotional and some time they become upset.
Because of the TV shows the family members are not able interact with each other.
I don't know how ppl are addicted to TV shows in your country. Please give your comments.

members of my family watch television soaps every night. and we got addicted to every episode. and we are really emotional. we laugh when the scene is so funny. we cry when it's a sad part. and we get mad when the villain is so cruel. we actually react and give our opinions. which i find a good bonding moment for us.

well, to tell you the truth, you're not alone. i do cry also when watching movies. i don't feel embarrassed. i feel better after crying while watching a scene or an episode. and i do look funny for others. just like you, i get too emotional when watching scenes about great happy weddings. i am looking forward for a happy married life, too. maybe that's why i get so emotional in such scenes.

It's hard to admit being a man, but are some movies and TV shows that bring tears to my eyes. "It's a Wonderful Life" I can watch that without bawling my eyes out. Anything that has to do with the lost of a friend ship or a great relationship brings me to tears. Now, if those relationships somehow get back together, bring out the buckets, I'm crying like a baby.

I do agree, but we knows that movies are made not the natural happeningsand whatever we see is only acting not a real as normal life. I feel that why should we be emotional, but at times even though we are matured enough to think about movies but we get tears in our eyes or become more emotional. As you said we human beings are more emotional.
Thanks for your post.

yeah some family become more empotional when they watch serials , in our family too , if one cheats the other till the next day part everybody will be scolding that person for cheating , that is a common thing in india. but there is no thing like problem in interaction, we do interact but emotions are common.
