Winter is almost at an end

What do you do in the spring and summer months that you cannot do when it is cold?
I love to go hiking, biking, and camping but I don't like to be cold so I am waiting impatiently for the cold weather to go for another year. Luckily where I live winters are short and mild but still I can hardly wait!

My hubby and I go out in our electric wheelchair and go to yard sales and just riding around taking pictures. We don't have a car so we don't get out much in the winter. (Rochester,NY)

Winter, what winter? I live in VA and it is not cold, we have had no snow. Saturday they set a record here it felt like it was May or June. I like summer but I like all the different seasons. The only thing I look forward to is swimming in the summer.

Fortunately for us in Sri Lanka, there is no Winter. It is only the festive season that is ending, but by April it will be time for our Sinhala New Year. This is a tropical country so close to the equator and the trees are evergreen here. We have two seasons called Yala, and Maha which we don't feel, but is used for the purpose of cultivating paddy (for rice) only.

in the warm months I do all sorts of stuff..I LOVE to go biking, swimming, tanning, going for walks, bonfires in the back yard, camping and just spendign time outside and this yr I'm plannign on putting in a garden or two which I'll really enjoy...I love being outside even if its just sittign on the porch reading or drawing....Unfortunately though, spring isnt due here for another 3 months...
