Angeline and Blurry have jointly won a cash prize of $16,000.They have to divide the cash prize in the ratio 3:5.How much will Blurry receive?

It has to be divided as $6000 to Angeine and $10000 to Blurry. So Blurry receives $10000. I took only one minute to get the answer, but is it as easy as that or is there a catch in it. Sometimes when riddles seem to be too easy there is a answer which is not what we think it is.
