Austrailian Shepards that watch TV

Does anyone have an Austrailian Shepard and does it watch tv and bark at other dogs. Does it know the commercials and come running as soon as it hears the music? Does it even bark at people in dog costumes? I thought dogs didn't see well, she is a blue merele with two different color eyes and the dog doesn't even bark, she knows its a dog by how it looks. Pretty wierd and I wondered if anyone else has a dog like this and what they do to curb its TV Dog attacks?
