hi everyone would you be ashamed or disown your child if they had an illness, as i know someone who felt ashamed of their daughter because of her illness and didnt want to accept that she had the illness they still see each other today but the mother still ignores her illness and acts like she has not got it. personally if my children had any illness i would never disown them or be ashamed of them i would only help them more, after all its not there fault they got the illness they didnt ask for it, i would take great care of them and make them feel special.
whats your opinion on this or do you know someone who suffered this sort of treatment?

I feel every child should be treated the same: with lots of love, respect and dignity. Children with an illness are no different, they might need some extra help with certain things but that's not a bad thing and doesn't have to stand in the way of anything. They can have a fun life, do sports and so on.
Perhaps a little bit different or with some help, but still.
I would NEVER disown my child or be ashamed, to a mother her child should be and is the most wonderfull person in the world and she should do her best to raise this child to become the beautiful person you feel they are.
