if you can travel through time, would you like to go to the past or the future? why?

I would re-visit the past, mainly so I could spend more time with my mom and dad. I miss them both dearly. I'm not worried about visiting the future... I'm building that one day at a time ;)

I would definitely want to go back to my past, back to 1998 and reverse a decision which has cost me dearly. If only I could go back and stop making the worst mistake of my life, and telling someone that NO I do not want to give up my flat to be with them, then I wouldn't be in a predicament I am in now. So yes it would be a selfish reason why I would time travel back to change my own past.

I am not sure mybay the past to fix my past mistakes and maybe into the future to see what is going to happen later in my life
