That is very kind of you. For me, I will report the case to the police and let the social welfare decide on the placement of the baby. I feel that since I've already had my own kids, I won't be able to provide as much love to this baby as my own and it won't be fair to him. If the parents of the baby knows me well enough to leave him with me, I think they should approach me personally and we can solve the problem together instead. However, I will keep in touch with the baby by visiting him regularly wherever he is being placed, if possible. I feel that I've got a responsibility to ensure he's doing well and that's the most I can do.

I think most would report the child as well as taking it inside and caring for it. But adoption is a very big committment and not done lightly or on the spur of the moment. A child is not a stray puppy and planning should go into that decision, if possible. I would take the baby in and call social services.

I think the same way as you do. I would try to figure out who the baby belongs too and contact the authrits and then I might adopt it after they find out about who the babied parent are.
