Why Do We Find Farts So Funny?

If it's my fart, I find it more funny. But if it's from others, I have to cover my mouth and start cursing the one who farted at the back of my mind;).. Now, isn't it funny on some ways or the other. Hell! who cares anyway?!;) LoL We sometimes joke about farts and tell the one's who smelled it, that if they got confused about the smell. They were cloud nine.. Just have to learn to laugh and let it be;)

I don't know why we find them so funny. It must be embarrassment as well as the funny noises they make. Usually like a duck has walked in the room!!
