I think John will be waking up soon-ish. I don't think he's really in a coma. I think they are giving him something to make it look like he's in a coma. When he was around Steve, he tried to touch his hand with his fingers. He also said Marlena's name Friday at the end of the show.

John will be in a coma long enough to keep EJ away. As soon as they decide to bring EJ back...John will come out of it. I'm kind of enjoying the break from Rambo John.
