Has anybody went to montego bay Jamaica?

I am planning a trip to Montego Bay Jamaica for May. I need some tips on flight information and a places to stay. Also, can you tell me a good place to go for couples? I have been pricing the flight there and the cheapest I found was a 1000 dollars for two people.
