News reports suggest theat US scientists have discovered a new source of stem cells. They claim to have successfully extracted stem cells from the fluid that fills the womb during pregnancy. This of course could have major reprocussions for Stem cell reasearch as prreviously stem cell could not be recovered without the embryo being destroyed.
