The rapper Snoop Dogg is on court on Friday on charges relating to Weapons and Drugs. Is the link between Gansta rap and just plain gansta becoming too blurred. How do you feel about your children listening to the music of potential criminals?

I don't think that children should be allowed to listen to the type of rap that talks about killing one another and stuff, but it's not all rap that's like that. Some rap is actually pretty good and I enjoy listening to it.

Yes I enjoy some rap. Like all genres of music there is also a great deal of diversity within each Genre. Thanks for your response.

I wouldn't be worried if I had a child listening to music of a potential criminal, and if I'm sure that my child is well educated. I think It is a question of parents education and not of child's idols education. I think music most of time doesnt influence on a child behaviour.

Thank you , A sensible answer. I agree that a child that is well educated and supported should be able to distinguish between the music and the behaviour. Thanks again.
