Global Tibbing (warming)

Has anybody heard this phrase before? It is related to global warming but on a much faster scale and the fact that governments are covering up the real facts about the speed with which we are destroying our planet. I was told about global tibbing by a governemnt official but he told me that offically it isn't happening.
