Pulutan is a word which means "finger food". Though at times eaten with a fork, Pulutan is served as an appetizer or as a snack accompanied with liqu0r or non-alcoholic beverages.
* Adidas - grilled chicken feet
* Chicharon - salted, dried and fried pork rind
* Chicharong Bituka - crispy pig's intestines (also called bulaklak, which translates to flower because of it's appearance when fried)
* Mani - salted and/or spicy fried peanuts, sometimes flavored with garlic
* Pork Barbecue - Filipino Satays marinated in a special blend
* Sisig - minced pig's cheeks cooked with herbs and spices and is served sizzling on a hot plate.
* Siomai - chinese dumplings (steamed meatballs sealed in wonton wrappers) dipped in soy sauce with squeezed kalamansi (Philippine lemon)
* Lumpiang Shanghai - tiny fried spring rolls filled with minced meat.

i love mani or peanuts, especially the spicy ones. i also enjoy kwek kwek or egg coated with flavored flour. another favorite of mine is fried chicken skin. i know to some foreigner, these foods may sound a bit gross but i guess thats what make us filipinos unique. we try not to live by the rules so our lives wont be so mundane.

you can check out the infamous "rat salad of tondo"..here in our street,we prepare live white rat, dipped in the condiments of soy sauce, chilis and lemon..and that's it.. it is meant to be eaten alive to maintain the quality on it..it is to believe that it enhances virility among men.

My favorite pulutan is goat delicacies such as:
Adobong kambing, papaitan, kaldereta and most of all kilawin.
I learn to love them because that was the delicacy my parents serve and it was our source of income we are into retail/livestock of goats and that's how I learn to love it.
