Why do we use orkut?

As someone said that a software guy started this thing called orkut when he broke up with his girlfriend and was in search of her and in the meantime when he started earning money... he never thought of distributing it with the users of orkut who worked hard for his profit... so why should we use orkut?

Well theoretically yes we have fun. Then what about sites like mylot and many more which also do the same thing and we get an opportunity to express our thoughts and get noticed and rewarded for it... practically speaking by orkutting we are only increasing money in some one elses pocket...

Well for the same reason we use chat sites and friend groups. We dont use the sites for whoever created them but for ourselves, to get in touch with friends, to find useful discussions and to make new friends. ofcourse if spending time online should always pay then majority of the sites are useless anyways

hey its the site where old friends are connected to each other and make more frnds and i also have many frnds in there i wasnt connected to them before from 2yrs but when i created my profile i met many of my old frnds

Well orkut is a messenger kind of stuff that connects many people together by referrals method, that is u have to get an invitation to get into orkut. Well as a starter it was not user friendly and each time we had to go to our friends scrapbook and write a scrap and come back. As for me that is not fast enough for chatting. And very little privacy. well now they have included the reply feature with it, which is better but still u have to keep refreshing it each time u think that u have a new scrap.
And after all this u gain lost friends but with my lot u not inly gain friends but also u earn for ur thoughts. And i think that every thought is priceless

Forget if some heartbroken person formed orkut and just enjoy it LOL or start a community named kik orkut owner in the ba**s.
