How can we keep our city clean???

I know cities in India are not that much clean. Everywhere there are dust bins, but how many of you use that. I'm in a project to start a campaign about this matter in my city. I need your opinoins about this. Will it work? Will it find a good result?? From where should I start my campaign??? Hope you all will help me by giving your opinions
