What I'm going to tell you is what you're probably already heard. Diet and exercise. You really have to watch what you eat and stay away from the "fast food" and/or less nutritious ones.
Next you've got to exersice focusing on cardio. Jogging, eliptical trainer, stairclimber etc.
A great way to stay motivated with the exercise is monitoring your progress. It's actually simple but people overlook such a simple concept. Example, one day you're on the treadmill for 10 minutes at 4mph, the next day your on the treadmill for 10 minutes at 4.5mph. Write this down and before you know it you will be on the treadmill for 25 minutes at 5mph, understand? The idea here is seeing your results and being motivated to getting better, in the meantime you're losing weight. This gradual increase is called "Progressive Overload". Everytime you do more than before, you're improving on the previous.
Private message me if you want my email and I will help you further if you like. I used to be in the fitness industry.
Good luck!

Gotta let you know this, as this is another pure example of what I am talking about.
I went to the gym today for my lunch. Last week I bench pressed 230lbs.
This week I was able to press 235lbs (and it felt great). See how I improved from last week? Now I'm totally pumped to do 240lbs next week. I monitor my progress and that keeps me motivated. I like seeing results.
I trust this helps.
