long distance relationship/online relationship..is it very in today??

Just wondring wat percentage of pipol actually believe that LDR's and online relationship work out..As in becoming a healthy, successful and long lasting relationship..
I hear so many pipol complain about the lying, cheating, being hurt by hurtful words that most pipol wouldnt say in an in person relationships, and their confusion as to where the relationship lies from day to day...
( AND IM REALLY NOT TRYING TO PISS ANYONE OFF, I AM GENUINELY CURIOUS TO IF OTHERS FEEL THE WAY I DO OR IF MORE
STILL BELIEVE IN THE LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP AND ONLINE RELATIONSHIP

Long distance relationship is really in these days. We cannot blame people for engaging in that and taking the risk. Sometimes long distance relationships are successful and mostly unsuccessful. Everything depends on how they would handle the relationship. Trust is very important.

I cant see how an online relationship would work, i just wouldnt feel like i new the person. I have a girlfriend and see her about 4 times a week which is fine for me. I would not be able to be in a long distant relationship with anyone, i just wouldnt be able to trust them knowing how far away they are. Anything could happen behind your back. Thanks, Simon.
