Do you look for the best deals? Or do you just buy what you need and not care about $$?

This "word" contributes nothing to the discussion. I have reported this response to MyLot and rated it negatively.

I find it very, very hard to pay full price for anything! I have to love it so much I just KNOW I'd die without it. Otherwise, it's wait til it's on sale or better yet, find it in a used store! lol

I'm always searching around for good deals on stuff other than food. I won't compromise in that area due to taste. The rest of the stuff I'll shop around for, especially if it's a major purchase ie the TV I just bought.

stretching the money - when money is tight it is a good skill to have so that you can have some semblence of living
Have been told that I can make George Washington squeak. Has been necesssary the last few years in trying to make a go of it. Buys lots of our things at Church Rummage Sales, there is a free clothing bank in town. Belong to the freecycle group in 4 counties. When I do spend money at a store we do not pay attention to brands, just well made and good priced items. Grow my own vegetables as much as I can and share even more with friends who want them. So our money though tight at this time does get us through. Price match at Walmart and love Aldi's too.

I'm always on the lookout for a good deal. I hate paying full price for things, so I shop a lot more when there are sales going on. We're on too tight of a budget to not care about money.... so we have to be careful. However, I won't by something just because it's on sale. I have to need it too.

Until a few years ago, I would only get the best deals. I would probably waste more gas than I saved on my purchases at times though. Now I still try to be economical but I consider time and gas money too. For instance, I wanted bananas and milk. I was at a store where these were priced considerably higher than I normally pay. Going without was an option but traveling to the town I usually get these items from would have been both a waste of time and money. There was a day I wouldn't have purchased at the higher price. Now I just pay a little more to avoid making the family go without the basics anyhow.
