Maybe I should just warn you that chinese is a little difficult language to learn. Im a chinese that lives in the Philippines. In your school, we usually study english in the morning and study chinese in the afternoon. A lot of my classmates did not finish the elementary because it is hard. Unlike the english language where you can form words out of letters, Chinese has characters which you have to memorize. You can learn faster if you talk to a chinese rather than buy a book, because of the intonation.

The best way to learn chinese is to buy a book or else go to classes where you can learn chinese.
