DNA array technology enables the simultaneous analysis of the expression of thousands of genes. The large amount of data obtained in these experiments makes analysis and data visualization challenging. We developed a suite of interactive scripts (PMmA - Pipeline for macro and microarray analyses) that, with a few steps, normalize the data; generates information about variations in expression, identifies gene up an down-regulated using Student´s t-test and a new intensity-dependent algorithm, generates scatter plots, MA-plots, MS-plots, hierarchical clustering and self-organizing maps.
