Okay, my lot police officers....

Actually, myLot often waits until the end of the month to delete those that have been reported. You will see your earnings go up and down over the next two weeks at most. And the good news is, when those discussions are deleted and or the abusers are banned, they loose their earnings and the earnings go back into the pot for that day. Hence, the earnings will increase for those that are being honest. Do not worry. Have faith that when they are done with their work, you will benefit.:) I got upset the first time it happened to me too. But then I realized when all was done, I earned almost 2 dollars more. So just hold tight and see what happens. :) Oh...and if that tells you anything...it should also tell others that reporting cheaters DOES benefit those that are truly putting forth the effort.

Certainly my earnings fluctuated a lot yesterday and I have noticed that a lot of responses to some of my discussions were deleted. However that isn't a worry because I had several people who were responding to my discussions with the same jokes, i.e. one person would put in the same joke to 2 discussions and then another would put in the same one to 2 different ones etc. I did report them to myLot but these were also people who only responded with very long jokes and never started one discussion between them. I believe that many others also reported these people as well. I didn't say they were bots but they were spamming and that is enough for me plus to respond with a joke to a serious discussion is entirely inappropriate. I have said this before but when they cheats are busted, banned or even when discussions are deleted that money is shared amongst everyone else who posted on the same day, so we don't actually lose. In fact those who respond with a quality response will actually gain. Keep an eye on your earnings and you will see that there is an adjustment around the first week of the new month. At least that has been what has happened to me for the past 3 months, including this month for December. Chin up mytwo_daughters because these people are being dealt with and once that happens maybe it will be a much better site with only those who are sincere will be around. Sure we need laughter, jokes, quotes and all those sorts of things and I also post them as well but not the spammers thanks very much.

I am also confused about the fluctuations in earnings . Although I am not here for earning the money , it makes me sad . All my efforts are being ruined by some others ...

I think that the fluctuating is MyLot deleting posts. If you are attatched to one of those, your points will go down. To be reported, you have to break a rule, and those people must prove what they turned in.

Yeah I don't think it's fair that we can lose hit points and earnings whenever a spammer is deleted. Earnings should be ours as soon as they are posted, and if someone is deleted we shouldn't lose points. It is frustrating when I log in and see my rating and say "wasn't I higher than that yesterday??" I keep forgetting what total I had! So tonight I'm working on getting to 400 so at least I'll know what # I was at when I log off :)
