Dont you think that our cultural values are degrading day by day?

When we look at the pages of history we think of the glorious times we had. The old South, The vedic India, or the cotton fields in georgia, and the traditions they bore, I get nostalgic thinking of that classic era. Even if we do not get so emotional, we have clearly missed a great part of our tradition and culture. I feel that is our moral values which have been degrading day by day and it makes one at a loss of comfort, even if you have all the material comfort. Maybe only I am getting a bit hyper, but I still need to know others views.
