starting ur own business

i recently decided that i wanted to venture out and be my own boss. i received my diploma for m edical billing and coding, and although i am assertive in certain areas, it just dawned on me. I know no th ing about starting my own business. anyone out there has any tips for me, like should i work for free to build up a clientle, or give certain discounts after a certain amount referrals..etc??

My advise would be to start learning all the ropes in your planned biz. Know something about financial management and marketing. Starting a business is stressful but financially rewarding especially if you did your assignments. Remember one of the pillars of the rich, aside from stock and real estate, is business. I dont know what kind of buisness you plan on starting, but i do know its a struggle in the begining. My husband owns a store and we had to WORK to get it off the ground as a matter of fact were still working. But its nothing like working for yourself. I hope your successful.
